Guatemala Entry Requirements

The Government of Guatemala has decided that the use of masks throughout Guatemala is optional, except in hospitals, medical clinics, vaccination centres, medical laboratories, nursing homes, prisons and on public transportation. The Government of Guatemala announced that from 13 August 2022 to enter Guatemala: You do not need to present proof of COVID-19 vaccination or a negative COVID-19 test in order to enter Guatemala

The Guatemala health pass is no longer required for entry.

There are no quarantine requirements at the moment.

The Embassy of Guatemala recommends that you contact their embassy for official details on other immigration requirements and documentation that you may need prior to travelling. Guatemala immigration requirements are: Passport with at least six months validity, Two passport-size photos (one must be recently taken), The application form (available upon arrival at the zone of entry), Proof of single-entry/exit (not more than 90 days before/after your date of entry) and a sufficient sum of money for your trip.
