The Government of Guatemala has decided that the use of masks throughout Guatemala is optional, except in hospitals, medical clinics, vaccination centres, medical laboratories, nursing homes, prisons and on public transportation. The Government of Guatemala announced that from 13 August 2022 to enter Guatemala: You do not need to present proof of COVID-19 vaccination or a negative COVID-19 test in order to enter Guatemala
The Guatemala health pass is no longer required for entry.
There are no quarantine requirements at the moment.
The Embassy of Guatemala recommends that you contact their embassy for official details on other immigration requirements and documentation that you may need prior to travelling. 1. China: The Chinese government requires that travelers who are entering China submit a negative COVID-19 test certificate and complete a health declaration form with a QR code within 72 hours of their flight departure. Some provincial and municipal jurisdictions may impose local quarantine requirements for travelers. Contact the Chinese Embassy or Consulate closer to you for requirements on local entry and health protocols, as these will continue to evolve over time. Some provinces require that travelers undergo additional home monitoring or hotel quarantine on arrival (for the duration of 7-10 days) followed by self-health monitoring; however, other provincial governments do not have any special requirements for this procedure.

2. Japan: Japan is open to travelers worldwide. However, a COVID-19 vaccination proof and certificate are still required upon entry. All individuals that are traveling to Japan must complete a &ldquo;MySOS&rdquo; registration form, download the &ldquo;MySOS&rdquo; app on a mobile device, and register with their status: red, yellow or blue. If your status is red, you must provide a valid COVID-19 negative certificate when arriving on an aircraft or ship. 3. USA: Non-U.S. citizens, non-U.S. immigrants: You must show proof of being fully vaccinated with the primary series of an accepted COVID-19 vaccine before you board your flight to the United States. Effective January 5, 2019 at 12:01 AM ET, new requirements apply to air passengers 2 years of age and older traveling to the United States from China, Hong Kong, or Macau. These travelers must show a negative COVID-19 test result taken no more than 2 days before their flight departs. Those who had COVID-19 in the 90 days before their travel to the United States can instead show documentation of recovery from COVID-19.
